I returned from the Czech Republic on Monday after an awesome 10 days there. I was part of an Athletes in Action team made up of 6 Canadians and 1 Slovakian. Our days were mostly spent training, playing, and hanging out with teams from Slovakia, Czech Republic and England. The Slovakian and Czech teams had many members of their National teams present, and the English had two National teams playing: the under-16 team and the over-16 team. We made a lot of friends, especially with the English teams, which was totally awesome. God was definitely moving in our time there and it was totally worth it. We also had some opportunities to sight-see: we walked around Prague and learned a bit of its history. Prague is truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We also visited Terezin, a concentration camp from WWII. That was quite the experience. And, on the way home, we had a long layover in London so we were able to get out of the airport and walk around London for 2 hours. Very cool.

Krista!! Prague is so beautiful, you lucky girl!! Did you score any goals?? Are you offence or defence?
I got to skate on Friday morning, cause we had some counselor ice time, and I'm shooting better already. (You'd be proud - i raised the puck once! lol)
Camp was incredible. I was the only girl, which was... fun. lol. And the ball hockey was awesome, and we had such a blast doing dry-land! (one day we played capture the flag, and they LOVED it, so we did it again for the last day!)

Thanks for sharing the pictures and stories about the Czech. Someday we hope to she the beautiful city of Prague too!
