Back from the States

I had a wonderfully magnificent time in Chicago and Grand Rapids. Was able to see some people I haven't seen in a very long time. Spent a day walking around downtown Chicago which was awesome. I've always wanted to see Chicago and I finally got to. So worth it. Beautiful city with lots of character. Thanks to Amber and Christianna for taking care of me there!

My time in Grand Rapids went by all to quickly. Seeing my friend there for the first time in almost 3 years was amazing because even though so much of life had happened we still hung out like we'd seen each other yesterday. We went to the zoo, checked out the Dutch village and museum in Holland, Michigan, went to an AHL game between Grand Rapids and Toronto, and gallavanted around town a lot. Johanna, you're amazing and thank you so much.

A highlight of my time in Grand Rapids was definitely the zoo... because they had penguins there. The flipping Vancouver Aquarium doesn't even have penguins! My goodness... they were cute little guys. I love penguins.
